Project title ‘Sara Emergency COVID’

Thanks to the POR FESR 2014-2020 contribution of the Veneto Region, the company Sara di Ros Roberto e Stefano & C. S.n.c., carried out the securing and adaptation of the ‘Hotel Palma de Majorca’ and ‘Hotel Las Vegas’ accommodation facilities to comply with the health and hygiene requirements provided for by national regulations and guidelines for the reopening and ordinary running of tourist activities as a consequence of the Covid 19 epidemiological emergency.
The company, in order to continuously sanitise and hygienise the common areas of the accommodation facilities and to keep both customers and employees safe, incurred expenses for the purchase of machinery to carry out the sanitisation and hygienisation operations.
In order to make the health and hygiene requirements of the Covid emergency clear and safe, expenses were incurred for spacing stickers and signage with indications related to the Covid requirements as well as protective barriers and spacing equipment.
In order to maintain the safety of staff in the accommodation facilities, expenditure was made to purchase personal protective equipment and specific kits for customers, as well as to sanitise the premises using appropriate products
Amount of total financial support granted: eligible expenditure € 20,000.00 amount of support € 14,000.00.
GOALS ACHIEVED.
The interventions enabled the achievement of the project’s objectives as they helped the company to adapt its facilities to comply with the sanitary and hygiene requirements of the national regulations and guidelines for the reopening and ordinary running of tourist activities as a consequence of the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency.

Project title ‘Renovation and Innovation Project Hotel Palma De Majorca’
POR-FESR 2014- 2020.
Thanks to the POR FESR 2014-2020 contribution from the Veneto Region, the company Immobiliare Alpina di Ros Stefano & C. – S.a.s., was able to carry out the extension and renovation of the Hotel “Palma de Majorca” accommodation facility through a series of works that brought improvements in both quality and functionality.
The investment made it possible to introduce innovative elements into the company’s tourism products, differentiating the offer with an increase in the quality of the facility as a whole.
The work plan included interventions in the macro-categories of digitisation, building and wellness:
- construction of 7 new rooms on the sixth floor modernising and increasing the level of service for customers;
- replacement of the parapets of the small terraces in the rooms with the installation of glass parapets, improving the aesthetics of the entire structure;
- elimination of terraces at the head of the floor corridors with expansion of the distribution rooms by full-height wire mounting inside the masonry;
- replacement of external windows and doors
- construction of wellness area;
- enclosure of the outdoor terrace on the ground floor with redesigned living area.
The roof is now equipped with a solar thermal and photovoltaic system with a power > of 3 kw sufficient to produce hot water for the entire facility.
In addition, both the hydrothermal and electrical systems of the entire accommodation were adapted and modernised.
The supply and installation of furniture for the new rooms on the sixth floor was carried out.
Amount of total financial support granted: eligible expenditure € 1,113,019.89 amount of support € 222,603.98.
GOALS ACHIEVED.
With the realisation of the project, the Hotel Palma de Majorca achieved the following ambitious goals:
- improvement of the external visual impact of the structure by adapting the building’s complements to modern architectural standards;
- increase the level of service offered to tourists through some upgrading of the common areas of the facility;
- extension of the opening period for the summer season: the aim is to be able to open in April and close in early October;
- increase in the number of guests per season.
