Jesse Owens, US sprinter and long-distance runner, stated: ‘It doesn’t matter what you find at the end of a race, the important thing is how you feel while you are running. What is amazing is not to have reached the finish line, but to have had the courage to start.
Our seaside resort gives you the chance to do so: Sunday 5 May 2024 Bibione Half Marathon will be back!

The
national competitive race reaches its eighth edition in 2024; it takes place on an asphalt and dirt road course closed to traffic over a distance of 21.097 km for both men and women.
Start and finish will be at Piazzale Zenith, with the race course approved by FIDAL.
Eligible categories, both female and male, will be:

• Junior
• Promesse
• Senior
• Senior Master.

Bibione Fun, a non-competitive 10 km race allowed for everyone who is 14 years of age or older on 4 May 2024, is also back.

Here is the programme in detail:

• Saturday, May 4th
  
  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Village Opening at Piazzale Zenith
  • 5.30 p.m. – Kids Run: a race for children.
  • 19:00 – Start of “Bibione Fun – 10K” / non-competitive run of about 10 km / max. 1000 participants
  • 21:00 – Dj set with Radio Company

• Sunday, May 5th
  
  • 7:00 a.m. – Village Opening
  • 9:00 a.m. – Bibione Half Marathon start
  • 12:00 – Award Ceremonies
  • 14:00 – Village Closure

It will be possible to collect the Half Marathon/Fun 10K bib and race pack at the following times:

• Saturday, may 4th at the Village in Piazzale Zenith:
  • 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. / bib and race packet collection Half Marathon
  • 10 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. / bib collection Fun 10K
• Sunday, May 5th: from 7 am to 8:45 am at the Village in Piazzale Zenith

There will be refreshment and watering points along the route; at the finish there will be a refreshment point with food and other refreshments.
Likewise, there will be security points and medical assistance with medical personnel.

Prizes will be awarded to the first 5 men and the first 5 women in the overall ranking; furthermore, the first 3 finishers and the first 3 groups with the most classified in each category will be awarded.

Subscriptions are already open and will close at 10 p.m. on Thursday, 2 May 2024, or upon reaching 1,500 registrations.
