The Punta Verde Zoo Park is a zoo run by a private company. It does not enjoy any public funding and its income comes solely from the entrance fee.

The MISSION of Punta Verde Zoo Park is based on four fundamental points:

the education of its public towards a greater culture and sensitivity towards the animal world and the environment, through targeted environmental education programmes aimed at the general public and schools of all levels;

the conservation of biodiversity through the participation of ex situ and in situ programmes.
For years, the Park, thanks also to the involvement and contribution of its visitors, has been supporting various conservation projects to safeguard endangered species directly in their places of origin, also offering local populations an opportunity for sustainable development;

the research, through collaborations with institutes such as universities, museums and scientific institutes in general.

and finally offering excitement to young and old alike through a day of leisure in a pleasant environment that encourages contact with Nature and helps to respect it.
