Windsurfing is a perfect mix of skiing, surfing and sailing, and it is spectacular to watch and practice.
Bibione has been one of the first Italian beaches to promote this since the late 1970s.
This is also because the southern layout of the coastline causes thermal breezes to blow predominantly from the sea towards the beach, thus always blowing side-on shore, ensuring the navigation of those who engage in this sport.
This means safety thanks to the presence of the centres’ instructors and qualified rescue personnel.
making it a safe place even for children and beginners.

At first, foreign tourists, especially Germans, approached this new sport, but now also many Italian families.
In fact, the approach is not only limited to children (who are getting younger and younger) but also to older people, such as fathers, mothers and sometimes even ‘grandparents’!

Bibione is not short of beautiful days with strong winds and waves, bora from Trieste or sirocco from the sea, with sometimes challenging conditions suitable for experienced surfers.
