The Bibione Ultimate FRISBEE® Beach Challenge is an international Beach Ultimate tournament held every year on our beach, and in 2024 it returns in its double guise:

• Spring, on 4 and 5 May
• Autumn, 28 and 29 September, in conjunction with the BOM (Austrian National Championships).

Ultimate is the team sport played with the Flying Disc (Frisbee®).
Standard’ Ultimate is played 7-on-7 on a grass field measuring 100×37 metres; Beach Ultimate is the sand version, the teams consist of five players each and the field measures 75×25 metres.

This international event, with teams, boys and girls from all over Europe (and beyond), is scheduled for 2024:

• Spring:
  • Real mixed division
    
  • Open division
    
• Autumn:
  • Loose&fun mixed = 2 women in the field (but even 1 is allowed).

Playing courts will be located on the beach in front of the International Tourist Village in Via delle Colonie.

  • 8.30am team leaders’ meeting
  • 9am-7pm qualifiers held on the beach
  • 6.30pm-11.30pm aperiDinner
    
  • Starting at 11.30pm Evening party
    
• Sunday 5 May / Sunday 29 September
  • starting at 9am ranking games on the beach (time to be reconfirmed)
  • 3pm – 4pm Final(s)
  • 4pm prize-giving, greetings and conclusion of the event

The event is organised by the BB-SEA Sports Association in cooperation with Aba Viaggi, the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento-Bibione and Bibione Spiaggia; is authorised and included in the della FIFD (Federazione Italiana Flying Disc) competition agenda.
